After 95 years, Dorothy has countless memories of her childhood, married life, and raising her children. It was a surprising challenge to hone in on her food experiences.

For Dorothy, cooking and eating was often just part of the day. You just did it! Recipes were few, and instruction was plentiful. In those days, you lived off the land. You learned to cook with a lot of hands-on training from family members and friends.
